A Work Revolution?

Like so many others I have been working from home since March 2020, my laptop set on a card table in a tiny corner of my bedroom. Having never used Zoom before, I've come to embrace it and the many other communication tools that make our remote work lives run (relatively) smoothly. As life slowly begins to return to normal, I'm curious to see how companies decide to operate going forward and the implications of these decisions for employees and organizations. For this article, I got to ask all my questions to three UMass experts on the subject. How is remote work affecting our work relationships and general happiness with our jobs? Are there ways to bolster these relationships and to "Zoom better"? What will the future of work look like? I also got to explore a very cool 3D virtual workspace, which may play an important role in long-distance collaboration between colleagues in the future.
